“As President of the Lodge, I am the immediate contact between the Police Department Administration, the City, State, and National Lodge, other organizations, and FOP Lodge 100. I serve as the main voice to represent our members and the interests of the Lodge at meetings all over the city and state. I oversee the Bingo that our Lodge operates and assist the treasurer and secretary in the management of Lodge funds, amongst many other duties.

The FOP means so much to me. I love the fraternal aspect so much, but as I have grown in my role, I have seen firsthand the value of representation on all the fronts the FOP acts on behalf of its members. I have been able to be a part of the lodge helping people from all walks of life in their time of need — our members, their families, and other families throughout our community.

My goals for the FOP are to continue the financial improvements we have made, and continue to fight for more and better benefits for our members. I also hope to continue to be the hands and feet that help the people of our community and surrounding communities.

I grew up in eastern Clark County in New Washington, IN. I attended IUS and worked for New Chapel EMS as a FF/EMT before becoming a police officer. I am married to my wife Kandyce and we have four children. We enjoy traveling and spending time with our families.”

“As Vice President of Jeffersonville FOP Lodge 100, I oversee requests for charitable donations and assist in all other executive functions as needed. In the event of the absence of the President of the Lodge, I serve in that capacity. If we were a baseball team, I’d be the “utility” guy.

FOP means a lot of different things to me because it has a lot of different roles. We are a labor union, a non-profit charitable organization, and a fraternal organization all in one. Ultimately it comes down to a brotherhood of law enforcement professionals who display the best of what it means to serve in law enforcement.

We’ve donated hundreds of thousands of dollars into our community and state. We’ve touched the lives of hundreds of children through our Shop with a Cop program. We’ve brought smiles to the faces of sick children at Norton’s Children’s Hospital through our No Shave November campaign. All this is just what I’ve seen first-hand in the four years I’ve been a member, and the tradition of good work goes back many decades.

I grew up in Jeffersonville before my family moved to Charlestown. I previously served with the Indiana University Police Department—Bloomington while finishing my degrees there, and I am a proud IU alumnus.”

“As the Secretary of Lodge 100, I am responsible for updating the membership roster with members transferring in and out of the Lodge, paying the dues to State and National Lodges, coordinating Lodge rentals, overseeing the Lodge’s general fund, and helping with any Lodge events.

My goals while serving with Lodge 100 would include streamlining some of the membership processes, seeing the Lodge continue to improve financially, and — probably most importantly — seeing younger or newly hired officers get involved, as they are the ones who will be responsible for continuing the Lodge’s mission long after I have retired.

My favorite thing about the Lodge 100 family is the support offered to members and their families in times of need. It is incredible how this group comes together — providing meals, helping around the house, calling to check in, or donating money to help an officer and their family.

I am a Louisville native and moved to Southern Indiana when I was hired in Jeffersonville 9 years ago. In my free time, I like to go kayaking and I run a small woodworking and laser engraving business on the side.”

“I have been a member of the FOP for over 18 years and a member of Lodge 100 for over 5 years. I served for three years as the Sergeant of Arms and took the position of Treasurer starting January 2021. I am responsible for keeping our members up to date on our accounts and the fiscal status of the lodge. I manage our charity gaming accounts and handle the paperwork and deposits that go along with it.

Lodge 100 has deep-rooted ties to Jeffersonville, and that is the center of why our Lodge has been so successful in reaching out and helping the community. Through our efforts, we are able to support local charities, youth teams, and our Shop with a Cop program.

I am also a proud committee member of our Back Your Blue 5K. This started as just an idea and has grown into a great day for community interaction and a way for our members to give back. Through this event, we have been able to better prepare and train the Officers of the Jeffersonville Police Department by providing additional equipment and training opportunities.

I grew up in Jeffersonville and, after attending college in TX and OK, completed 8 years in the US Army. I returned home and became a police officer. I am happily married to my wife Meredith and we enjoy our 4 kids and two dogs.”
