• President Anthony Stewart

As President of the Lodge, I am the immediate contact between the Police Department Administration, the City, State, and National Lodge, other organizations, and FOP Lodge 100. I serve as the main voice to represent our members and the interests of the Lodge at meetings all over the city and state. I oversee the Bingo that our Lodge operates and assist the treasurer and secretary in the management of Lodge funds, amongst many other duties.

The FOP means so much to me. I love the fraternal aspect so much, but as I have grown in my role, I have seen firsthand the value of representation on all the fronts the FOP acts on behalf of its members. I have been able to be a part of the lodge helping people from all walks of life in their time of need. This includes our members, their families, and other families throughout our community.

My goals for the FOP are to continue the financial improvements we have made, and continue to fight for more and better benefits for our members. I also hope to continue to be the hands and feet that help the people of our community and surrounding communities.

My favorite thing about the FOP family is just that. We have a family aspect and gaining a good family is never a bad thing! We count on each other and lean on one another when needed. Everyone deserves that type of family.

I grew up in eastern Clark County in New Washington, IN. It was the perfect place for me to grow up. After high school, I attended IUS and eventually took a job with a hospitality company which allowed me to travel much of the U.S. I worked for New Chapel EMS as a FF/EMT working my way to a Major’s position before becoming a police officer. I have learned something from all of these careers that have helped me in my current role. I am married to the most wonderful human, my wife Kandyce. We have four children who bring so much joy to us and keep us busy all of the time. We enjoy traveling and spending time with our families.
